1. Description of Service

The final deliverable is designed to be concise (one page or less) and clearly articulates your manuscript’s title, key findings, scientific novelty, and broad appeal to the specific readership of your chosen journal.

2. Information Required from the Author

Our writers are experts in academic communication, but you are the expert in your research. To craft an effective and accurate cover letter, you must provide the following at the time of your order:

• The Target Journal: The exact name of the journal you are submitting to (and the name of the Editor-in-Chief, if known).
• Manuscript Details: The finalized Title and Abstract of your paper.
• Core Novelty/Impact: A brief summary (2–3 bullet points) of your main findings and exactly why this research is new, important, and relevant to this specific journal’s audience.
• Administrative Details: Any specific disclosures required by the journal (e.g., prior interactions with the editor, suggested reviewers, or conflicts of interest).

3. Scope and Limitations (What We Do Not Do)

• Not a Manuscript Edit: Purchasing a cover letter does not include editing, formatting, or proofreading of your actual manuscript.
• Not a Submission Service: We provide the written document to you. It is your responsibility to upload it to the journal’s submission portal.
• Not a Pre-Submission Inquiry: This service is for the formal cover letter accompanying a full manuscript submission. We do not email journal editors on your behalf to “pitch” the paper.

4. Delivery and Formatting

• Format: The final cover letter will be delivered to you as an editable Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx).
• Letterhead: We provide the text and standard formatting. It is the author’s responsibility to copy the text onto their official university or institutional letterhead and add their digital signature before submission, as journals expect this to come directly from the corresponding author.

5. Revision Policy and Change of Target Journal

• Change of Journal: The fee covers a cover letter tailored for one specific journal. If you decide to submit to a different journal (or if your paper is rejected and you submit elsewhere), a new order must be placed. Different journals have different scopes, requiring the letter to be completely rewritten to address a new audience and a new editor.

6. Limitation of Liability (No Guarantee of Peer Review or Acceptance)

• A compelling cover letter is designed to get the Editor-in-Chief to read your abstract and send the paper out for peer review. However, the final decision rests entirely on the editor’s subjective judgment of your science and the journal’s current backlog.
• Outreach Services and Dr. Arup Giri do not guarantee that your manuscript will pass desk screening, enter peer review, or be accepted for publication based on our cover letter.
• In no event shall our total liability for any claims arising from this service exceed the total amount paid by the user for the Cover Letter order.

7. Modifications to Terms

Dr. Arup Giri reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to arupgiri.com. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any modified terms.
