Ms. Poonam Mundlia is a distinguished scholar and educator pursuing her PhD in Zoology at Baba Mastnath University, Asthal Bohar, Rohtak. Poonam has built a solid academic foundation through an interdisciplinary educational journey, reflecting her commitment to scientific excellence and holistic development. With a strong background in biotechnology and zoology, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology (B.Sc.) from Kurukshetra University (2012-2015), a Master of Science in Zoology (M.Sc.) from the University of Rajasthan (2015-2017), and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from Chaudhary Devi Lal University.

Poonam has amassed significant teaching experience as an Assistant Professor at Imperial College, Hisar, and the Department of Zoology at Chhaju Ram Memorial Jat College, Hisar. Her commitment to education has been recognized with accolades such as the Most Promising Educator Award (2019), Employee of the Year (2019), the Best Faculty Member Award (2022), and Best Paper Presentation Award (2025). She presented a paper on “Immunomodulatory and Systemic Response of 2-deoxy-D-Glucose and 6-Aminonicotinamide in normal and Ehrlich Ascite Tumor bearing mice: Effects in Radiosensitization” on 16 February 2019 at a National Conference on Biodiversity and Environmental Sustainability in the Modern Era, sponsored by the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Haryana. Her scholarly contributions are steadily growing. she has contributed ninteen book chapters, showcasing her evolving expertise and dedication to science communication. She holds certificates from national and international conferences, including the International Conference on Environmental Awareness: Protection and New Challenges. Poonam achieved certification in a hands-on training program for Advanced Analytical Chromatography Techniques, such as HPLC and FPLC, from the Department of Microbiology in association with Sci-Learn-tech and Networking Foundation and Association of Microbiologists of India, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak.
