Description of Service

Outreach Services provides similarity checking and AI-generated text detection using industry-standard third-party tools, including Turnitin. We provide a detailed report highlighting potential similarities with existing published works or text flagged as potentially AI-generated (@Rs. 2000 upto 150 pages; Rs. 2500 upto 250 pages).

• Plagiarism Check (Turnitin): Generates a similarity report and percentage score.
• AI Detection: Identifies the probability of text being generated by artificial intelligence.

Intellectual Property and Data Privacy (Non-Repository Guarantee)

We understand that your unpublished research is highly sensitive and confidential.

• No Database Addition: All plagiarism checks are conducted using a strict “No Repository” Your manuscript will not be saved to Turnitin’s global student or institutional databases.
• Copyright Ownership: You retain all copyrights and intellectual property rights to the documents you submit. Outreach Services claims no ownership over your work.
• Confidentiality: Your documents and the resulting reports will only be shared with you and will be permanently deleted from our local servers within a specified period (e.g., 30 days) after the order is fulfilled.

Limitations of the Tools and Reports

While we utilize advanced and recognized software, users must acknowledge the inherent limitations of these technologies:

• Similarity vs. Plagiarism:A Turnitin report highlights textual similarity, not necessarily plagiarism. A high score may result from properly cited quotes, standard scientific methodology descriptions, or bibliographic references. It requires human interpretation.
• AI False Positives/Negatives:AI detection tools are predictive models and are not 100% accurate. They may flag human-written text as AI (false positive) or fail to detect AI-generated text (false negative).
• No Guarantees:Outreach Services does not guarantee that a low similarity or low AI-detection score will result in manuscript acceptance by any journal or academic institution. Similarly, we cannot guarantee that publishers will not find differing results using their own proprietary screening tools.

User Representations and Warranties

By submitting a document to Outreach Services, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the original author of the document or have explicit, legally binding permission from the copyright holder to submit the document for screening.
• The document does not contain highly sensitive personal data, classified government information, or material that violates any applicable laws.

Limitation of Liability

The reports provided by Outreach Services are strictly for your informational and editorial guidance.

• Dr. Arup Giri and Outreach Services shall not be held liable for any academic, professional, or legal consequences arising from the use of these reports.
• We are not responsible for manuscript rejections, academic disciplinary actions, or allegations of academic misconduct made by your university or target journal, regardless of the scores provided in our reports.
• In no event shall Outreach Services’ total liability to you for any damages exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service in question.

Prohibited Use

You may not use our services to:

• Screen documents that belong to third parties without their consent (e.g., checking a peer’s work without permission).
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, manipulate, or “trick” the detection software to bypass institutional academic integrity systems.

Modifications to Terms

Dr. Arup Giri reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to arupgiri.com. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any modified terms.
