Welcome to Outreach Services by Dr. Arup Giri (https://arupgiri.com). The following Terms and Conditions govern your use of our Graphs, Charts & Visualizations Service. By submitting your data for visual creation, you explicitly agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Description of Service

Our Graphs, Charts & Visualizations service is designed to transform your raw data into high-resolution, publication-ready scientific visuals (such as bar charts, pie charts, box plots, line graphs, heatmaps, and scatter plots). Our team customizes these visuals to comply strictly with the aesthetic and technical guidelines (font size, line weight, color palette, and resolution) of your target journal.

2. Pricing and Scope of Work

• Base Rate: The standard fee (₹199/charts or graphs) covers the creation of distinct charts or graphs.
• Definition of an Item: A single chart or graph is considered one item. Multi-panel visualizations (e.g., a figure containing Graph A, Graph B, and Graph C) will be counted based on the number of individual graphs generated (in this example, three items).
• Additional Items: Any charts required beyond the initial 5 will incur an additional charge. We will confirm the total count and project cost before commencing work.

3. Author Responsibilities and Input Requirements

To create accurate and compelling visualizations, we require the following from the author:

• Raw Data: You must provide clear, organized, and finalized raw data in standard formats (e.g., Microsoft Excel .xlsx, .csv, or SPSS data files).
• Clear Instructions: You must specify the type of graph required for each dataset (e.g., “Use Sheet 1 to create a grouped bar chart”).
• Target Journal Details: Provide the name of the target journal or a link to their artwork guidelines so we can match their specific aesthetic and dimensional requirements.
• Labels and Units: You must explicitly provide the correct text for all axes labels, legends, and units of measurement.

4. Data Integrity and Scientific Accuracy (What We Do Not Do)

• No Data Manipulation: We plot exactly the data you provide. We do not alter data points, clean datasets, run statistical analyses (unless you have purchased our separate Statistical Services), or alter error bars to make the results look more favorable.
• Author Verification: The final responsibility for the scientific validity of the graph rests entirely with you. You must carefully review the delivered visuals to ensure they accurately represent your research findings before submission. Outreach Services assumes no liability for published errata or retractions resulting from inaccurate data provided by the author.

5. Revision Policy

We want your visuals to perfectly complement your manuscript. The base fee includes:

• One (1) Round of Minor Revisions: This includes aesthetic adjustments such as changing colors, adjusting font sizes, modifying axis scales, or fixing typographical errors in labels.
• Major Revisions (New Data): If you discover an error in your own raw data and need the graph regenerated, or if you request a completely different type of chart after the initial one was delivered as requested, this is considered a major revision. Major revisions requiring the graphing of new datasets will incur additional fees.

6. Delivery Formats and Copyright

• Deliverables: Final visuals will be delivered digitally in high-resolution, journal-compliant formats (typically 300-600 DPI .TIFF, .JPEG, .PNG, or .PDF).
• Copyright Transfer: Upon delivery and full payment, all copyrights for the final customized graphs are transferred to you. Outreach Services retains no ownership over your data or the resulting specific graphs.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Outreach Services cannot guarantee that visually compelling charts will result in the acceptance of your manuscript by any journal.
• In no event shall the total liability of Dr. Arup Giri or Outreach Services for any claims related to this design service exceed the total amount paid by the user for the specific Graphs & Charts order.

8. Modifications to Terms

Dr. Arup Giri reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to arupgiri.com. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any modified terms.
