RESEARCH
Research Expertise
- Ecotoxicological Impact Studies: Investigating the environmental fate and ecotoxicology of industrial pollutants such as potentially toxic elements (PTEs) and microplastics, with a focus on food chain contamination and ecosystem health.
- Water Resource Evaluation: Groundwater and surface water quality assessment for agricultural sustainability. I analyze hydrochemical parameters and use multivariate statistical tools to determine irrigation suitability and environmental threats posed by contaminated water in fragile ecosystems like the Sundarbans and Ladakh.
- Biowaste Management and Soil Fertility: Developing sustainable composting techniques from kitchen and agricultural wastes to enhance soil productivity. My research emphasizes circular economy approaches by turning waste into resources for sustainable farming.
