1. Description of Service
Our comprehensive Language Editing Service is designed to elevate your manuscript to publication-ready standards. Our editors carefully review and refine your text to improve clarity, logical flow, grammar, syntax, sentence structure, wording, and overall scientific tone. We aim to ensure your manuscript reads as though written by a native English-speaking expert while preserving your original scientific meaning and authorial voice.
2. Pricing and Word Count
- Base Rate: The standard fee (₹750) covers comprehensive language editing for manuscripts containing up to 5,000 words.
- Calculating Word Count: The total word count includes all submitted text, including the abstract, main manuscript, figure legends, and tables, unless you specifically request in writing that certain sections (such as references) be excluded.
- Additional Word Count: Manuscripts exceeding 5,000 words will be charged proportionally based on the total word count. The final price will always be confirmed before editing begins.
3. Scope and Limitations (What We Do Not Do)
To ensure clear expectations, please note the following limitations:
- No Data Verification: We do not verify scientific data, experimental methodology, calculations, statistical analyses, or research conclusions. Scientific accuracy remains entirely the responsibility of the author.
- No Structural Formatting: This service focuses exclusively on language improvement. It does not include manuscript formatting, journal styling, citation formatting, or page layout adjustments. These services are available separately through our Manuscript Formatting Service.
- No Plagiarism Resolution: This service does not include plagiarism checking, rewriting for plagiarism reduction, or originality verification.
4. Author Responsibilities & Submission Requirements
- Final Draft Requirement: Please submit the final version of your manuscript before editing begins.
- File Format: Manuscripts must be submitted as editable Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) files. Locked or scanned PDF files cannot be edited.
- Responding to Editor Queries: If any sentence is scientifically unclear or ambiguous, our editors may leave comments or questions within the document. It is the author's responsibility to review and address these comments before journal submission.
5. Quality Guarantee and Free Re-Editing
We stand behind the quality of our editing and offer a guarantee against language-related manuscript rejection.
