Ms. Ruby, M.Sc., is a Research Scholar in the Department of Life Sciences (Zoology) at Baba Mastnath University, Rohtak, India. Ruby has completed her M.Sc. in Zoology from Baba Mastnath University, Rohtak and B.Sc. in Medical from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak. Her doctoral research work focuses on the detection and analysis of microplastics in Lake ecosystem, addressing critical environmental challenges. Ruby has authored in twenty-nine publications, including seven review articles and twenty-two book chapters, covering various subject areas in Zoology. She has also been presented with the “Best Oral Presentation Award” in an International Conference held at Baba Mastnath University, India in collaboration with Maharaja Agrasen University, India and I.K. Gujral Panjab Technical University, India. Her work reflects a commitment to advancing scientific knowledge and fostering collaboration across disciplines. With her dedication and expertise, Ruby is currently working towards understanding the ecological impact of microplastics, as these pollutants pose serious threats to aquatic ecosystems and food chains.
