Dr. Manisha Yadav

Dr. Manisha Yadav is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Zoology at Sh. L.N. Hindu College, Rohtak. She has recently completed her Doctoral degree in Zoology from Baba Mastnath University, Rohtak, under the supervision of Dr. Arup Giri. Her academic journey began at Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, where she completed her B.Sc. (Medical) in 2012, M.Sc. in Zoology in 2014, and B.Ed. in Life Science in 2015, all with outstanding performance, earning first division and distinction.
Dr. Yadav’s research expertise lies in the field of salivary biomarkers, disease detection and monitoring, biofluid analysis, and oral health. Her doctoral work and ongoing research have contributed significantly to exploring the role of saliva as a non-invasive diagnostic tool.
She has actively participated in academic conferences and seminars at both national and international levels. Notably, she has presented research on the effects of meditation, dance, and exercise on human saliva quality and physiology, highlighting the intersection of lifestyle practices with biological health indicators. In recognition of her research, she was awarded First Position for Best Oral Presentation at an International Conference organized at Government College for Women, Udhampur.
Dr. Yadav has also made meaningful contributions to scientific literature. She has published two research articles in peer-reviewed journals and contributed a book chapter to Herbal Medicine Applications for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (Taylor and Francis Group, 2023). Her publications reflect a strong interest in integrative approaches to health, including the study of PCOS, metabolic profiles, and holistic practices such as exercise and meditation.
With her dedication to research, teaching, and innovation in the life sciences, Dr. Manisha Yadav continues to inspire students and fellow researchers alike. Her academic achievements and commitment to advancing knowledge in zoology and biomedical sciences mark her as a promising scholar in her field.
